Personal growth for each stage of your walk with Christ is what will establish you and grow your relationship in depth. Our function is to guide you to your next step or help you. We believe that Jesus spoke to each person with the famous verse “go and make disciples.” This is all included in our growth process – Encounter, Transform, Impact. It takes a meeting with God to transform your life so you can impact your immediate environment – Encounter God, Transforming Lives, Impacting Generations.
We serve our community with values and principles. Some of our “non-negotiables” form the building blocks of the ministry and the heartbeat of the congregation:
We do what we say, and say what we do.
We will be known for our love for God and our neighbor.
People don’t care how much you know, not before they know how much you care.
We are the Church of Christ, and we are given to the world.
We equip people to walk in freedom and thereby bring freedom to your neighbor.
We know a “Closed hand can never receive.” We believe in God’s principles about money and set up stewards in finance.
We lead people in their walk with God through God’s Word and freeing principles.
God’s principles were given to man to transform lives from natural to supernatural. We believe that the church needs to be “smaller” to become “bigger” and so we invite people to join any of our “Lifegroups”. Life groups have ONE simple goal – it’s to bring people together (doing life together). We believe God created us with the community in mind and we can experience it in His fullness in Lifegroups. We base our Lifegroup model on the first church described in the book of Acts. In Acts we read about the tremendous growth in the first church in Jerusalem, where the Lifegroups came together in homes and helped lay the foundation:
Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Messiah.
